This site contains the online proceedings for the RAATE 2006 Conference - Recent Advances in Assistive Technology and Engineering. RAATE is a yearly conference - so check out this year's conference too.

If you attended RAATE 2006 this year, many thanks for coming and helping make this a very successful conference. We would very much welcome your feedback and you can use this site to comment on specific presentations and/or the conference in general.

This is the all new conference website. You can use the navigation bar on the right hand side of this page to browse through the exciting programme for this year’s conference.
As you can see we have an excellent and varied programme and it looks to be a very productive meeting.
The conference is over two days this year and includes a training program - an good way to get up to speed in an area of Assistive Technology you may not be familiar with.
You must register as soon as possible particularly if you are attending a training course since there are limited numbers. The conference is being held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, an excellent and comfortable venue with easy transport links.
There is also still time to submit a poster to the conference.
