Abstract:

This session will aim to provide an insight into the application of Assistive Technology in the classroom.

Course aims:

• Develop an understanding of ways in which Assistive Technology and AAC devices can be used to access the curriculum in an educational environment. Assessing the needs of learners for AT.

• Explore some of the uses of specialist software programs and access methods to support learning.
