RAatE 2013 is the only UK conference focused on the latest innovations and developments in assistive technology (AT). This conference will be of interest to anyone who uses, works with, develops or conducts research on or into AT.

The keynote for this year is Annalu Waller, Professor of Human Communication Technologies in the  School of Computing at the University of Dundee.

Annalu has worked in the field of Augmentative and Alternate Communication (AAC) since 1985, designing communication systems for and with nonspeaking individuals, and established the first AAC assessment and training centre in South Africa in 1987.  To read more about Annalu’s achievements, please click here
