RAATE 2006 – 27th and 28th November 2006
RAATE 2006 is a conference about Assistive Technology (AT) products and services that enable independence.
It provides for all people who use, work with, develop or conduct research on AT.
Following feedback from our one day event last year, we are returning to a 2 day programme for 2006.
Why should you come to RAATE 2006?
This conference is a unique opportunity for all professions who work in AT, develop or conduct research or who have a particular interest in this area to meet.
Each year RAATE attracts a multi-professional, multi-agency audience. This includes:
- Occupational therapists
- Speech and Language therapists
- Rehabilitation engineers
- Clinical engineers
- IT co-ordinators
The aim of the meeting is to bring these groups together to share their knowledge and experience.
RAATE 2006 is supported by IPEM – The Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine
The Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) is a Registered Charity which exists to promote, for the public benefit, the advancement of physics and engineering applied to medicine and biology; to advance public education in the field; and to represent the needs and interests of engineering and physical sciences in the provision or advancement of health care.
